Here are some smoke tests made under Maya Software.
Tasks for this project:
- Camera Projection modelling and mapping.
- Developed a Mel Script to generate crowds.
- Made other Mel Script to fix some models, assign UV’s, connect nodes, assign shaders and create render layers for the crowds.
- Developed a CacheExportGeometry script so that the mutant character’s crowd could be render it out in Max.
- Made Mutant and Soldier’s lowpoly so that they could be managed as crowd.
- Made mist pass for the comp.

Hardworing for the complete year. Started on January at Illusion Studios, then a small studio in Buenos Aires, then WWFX at Bulgaria, MPC Vancouver next. Finally arrived at Buenos Aires working for PyroVFX in big and awesome FX projects that I’ll be able to share really soon.

Render script created for Illusion Studios. It was developed in about 2 hours and was used in several shots for Illusion Park and Efecto Animado. You will be able to setup a scene ready for render in few minutes. Creates automatically character renderlayer, eyes, shadows, occlusion, among others.
Great script to earn lot of time in your production.
Finally released, after a complete month of Super hardworking in Sofia Bulgaria for Worldwide FX and being part of one of the greatests teams I ever worked with. I’ve been part of almost 20 VFX shots for this greatest movie, most of them fire smoke, dust, shotgun shot, airplane trails, rocket trails, some debris and sparks. No pipeline, super small farm, but 32GB ram made some magic to calculate over 800 resolution fluids and over 72 hours or hardworking per week.

Just arrived to MPC Vancouver contracted as Senior VFX Technical Director for The Man Of Steel that will be released on 2013. I’ll hard work with some old friends in orden to achieve amazing visual effects under Flowline software I’ll be here until 16th October 2012 and go back home and settle down working 100% for Pyro.VFX.

Another cool script developed for Illusion Studios. No need to light your scene, do some FX or render your complete model, with complete rig, blendshapes and heavy character. Export all the animated information to a new clean model and work light and fast.
This is an example of automatized process for Post Production. The tools was developed for a small studio in Argentina and consisted in a comercial were some sewing threads grow and form figures. After deciding the technical way to use, we developed a tool that permit us earn lot of time. Image how much time would have take us model the “zigzag” curve? and apply the FX with time offsets? multiplied by all the theads used in the commercial?
With our script it took less that 3 min per thread. The fatest you do it, the less money will cost you.
